Every drawer I open has had me come face to face with either a stack of sticky notes, sharpies which somehow have lost their lids and half of their ink, notebooks that haven’t even been opened although I’ve had them for many months now and not forgetting the overwhelming amount of paper with inspirational quotes written on every seeable corner possible. You may be thinking surely I will put these on my list of must use products and save buying anything else for the distant future, right?… wrong! I somehow found myself coming home today from a trip to The Works with even more crap, that will undoubtedly be sheltered in my drawers with everything else until I finally remember about them many weeks later.
For now though I am enjoying seeing what new stationery items different shops are bringing out as we slowly creep into Summer time! Lots of bright colours, fruits splattered everywhere and quotes, many, many quotes!
If you came across one of my recent blog posts then you will know I’m going through a phase of being deeply obsessed with writing sets. It’s just something about getting out a pen and paper to write a message that you know someone will receive shortly after, through the post. On my quest to fulfil this part of my heart, I came across these two sets of beautifully illustrated cards. Which in my opinion is a step up from the normal sheet of paper and a simple envelope! The first set I instantly gravitated towards was the ‘Cheeky prosecco cocktail recipe notecards’ I knew these would be great for sending to my best friend on a rainy day, because who doesn’t love a bit of bubbly every so often!?
To join in with the notecard trend, I also picked up another set which was a little bit more simpler and classy. These beautifully illustrated cards for friends and loved ones were just yelling my name. Inside there are eight notecards with envelopes in not just one design, but two! When purchasing, I was lucky enough to get these on offer due to being buy one get one free, what a bargain!Moving on from the world of notecards, I happened to come across these Floral Sticky Notes on a Magnetic Board. Each individually labelled for certain reminders somebody may need, is perfect for people like me who forgets near enough anything and everything! My favourite sets in particular are the Wish List and Don’t Forget.Another stationary item I picked up that is made for storing sticky notes, is this adorable miniature notebook that has every type of sticky tab you will ever need! They even come in the most vibrant colours which is perfect for those revision days. Last but not least I had come to the end of my last lot of felt tips, and knew it was going to be nearly time for me to face the overwhelming choices of buying a new set of pens. Fortunately I was able to make my mind up quickly and I ended up purchasing these 10 double ended markers by the brand Scribblicious! Do you like stationery? If so, what’s your favourite item to hoard until your room is overflowing at the sight of them all? Let me know down below, and I will see you all in my next post. Bye lovelies! xo
