Recently I took to Twitter and asked you guys to send in some questions that you have always wanted to ask me! After my Twitter and Facebook nearly blowing up with the amount of feedback I received I went through and picked the questions that I knew would have some interesting and thoughtful responses. Let’s begin shall we?!
Who are your biggest blogging inspirations?
I have quite a few actually, obviously most people will say the well known people like Zoella and SprinkleOfGlitter how ever even though I do like them I prefer people who I met through WordPress and Blogspot. One being TaylorTalks she is incredible and I love her work! She’s so kind and helped me a lot. Another person is my amazing friend Charlotte who’s passion for blogging is incredible and she always has amazing ideas.
What is your favourite and least favourite thing about blogging?
Both are heavily equal so it would mean writing a whole essay about each. However some things I love about blogging is the sense of achievement you get when your post publishes and people are sending in amazing feedback. Another thing I love is how you feel part of the community the minute you join, whether that be on WordPress Blogspot or even your own website. Obviously there are a few downsides to blogging for example the time you have to spend on your blog is a lot meaning you never have much time to think, but I wouldn’t change it. And the overwhelming amount of people joining the blogging community means sometimes your blog gets pushed to the bottom of the pile.
If you could change one thing about the blogging industry what would it be?
Probably to show people they can do it, even if they’re stuck on 10 followers if they keep trying they can get to their dream. I think with these bloggers who have thousands of followers sometimes people just give up thinking they can’t do it or they feel worthless. We’re all in the same boat, and if you want to start blogging do it! Don’t do it because your neighbour is doing it or your wanting money. If you are really passionate about something do it, even if everyones saying don’t. So I would probably change the lack of confidence in some bloggers.
What is your favourite makeup brand and why?
Oh! that’s a tricky one. I think after using nearly half of their stock it has to be Revolution. The reason they’re in business is most likely because I’m constantly buying their products. I just love the formula and how affordable everything is!
What is your favourite hobby other than blogging?
Writing, whether that be stories or poems I love anything to do with writing.
Any advice to future bloggers?
Don’t give up, when the going gets tough and you feel your blog has just paused. Don’t stop, one of these days someone will press play, it just takes time. Don’t do it for anyone else or to make anyone else happy do it for you, and if you’re not enjoying it think is it really for you. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else everyones different and your blog shouldn’t be the same as another person. And lastly have fun! It shouldn’t be made to feel like a job so breath, smile and keep going.
Who is your fashion icon?
Elizabeth Taylor diamonds were defiantly her best friend. And Grace Kelly her dresses were just beautiful am I right?!
What do you want to get out of blogging?
I could talk about this question all day but at the end of it I just want to do something I love and that is blogging. Nothing makes me happier than getting emails saying I’m helping someone or being the reason why someone is happy today. My viewers mean everything to me, because honestly if they hadn’t clicked onto my blog and took the time to read my posts I wouldn’t be receiving all these opportunities today. So thank you! I guess, taking away the beauty aspect I want to make people smile and tell my story because from experience and current everyday challenges life isn’t all perfect!
Thank you so much to everyone who asked me a question! I hope this is a step for you getting to know me a bit better. Have an amazing day I love you!
