I know I’m not the only one who finds sitting down, with a warm cup of tea and plenty of snacks ready to see what products everyone has been obsessed with this current month, somewhat calming and satisfying. Just the possibility of walking away with no money to my name, but plenty of products in my basket is not a bad thing, am I right? Maybe damaging to my bank balance, but definitely not to my shopaholic mind!  If you want to know what products I have currently been obsessed with throughout the month of May, then sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! Don’t forget to get your purse ready, because there are some good things ahead!

Revolutons Makeup Cover & Conceal Palette in light medium.

As we are all aware, or at least some of us. I am obsessed with the drugstore brand Revolution! By obsessed, I don’t just mean I own two or three products from them which end up pushed to the back of my drawers after a day or so. Instead I own around twenty products from Revolution, all of which I love enormously, and use on a daily basis! One product in particular that I have been in awe over recently is the Makeup Cover & Conceal Palette in light medium. I always struggle when finding the perfect formula in concealers, they’re either too greasy, rubbery, wet or just generally overly dry. I don’t think my skin type helps with this, especially because I’m partly oily, dry and sensitive so it makes finding particular skin products really difficult! Luckily, this palette provides the perfect amount of moisture allowing any application to be mess free and smooth as butter! Although the thought of applying butter to my face isn’t the most pleasing! So whether I want to highlight, hide those pesky spots or cancel out any redness this palette has been my saviour and I’m sure to continue using it throughout the rest of the upcoming months.

NYX ~ Matte Bronzer in light dark gold.

If a zombie apocalypse were to happen right this minute, the product that I would most likely reach for straight away (because obviously makeup is my main priority when I’m possibly going to get eaten alive), is the NYX matte bronzer in light dark gold. My goodness does this add a defining finish to your face! Its by far the best bronzer I have used in a very long time, maybe not as good as my Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light 884, but it definitely comes close. I’m able to achieve a natural and healthy looking complexion without the possibility of over contouring and looking like someone out of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory! Not attractive in the slightest, well not for me anyways! One warning I would give if you were to purchase this particular bronzer, is a little goes a long way. One touch of the colour on your brush, is more than enough to define your desired areas.

Sleek Cleopatras Kiss Highlighter Palette.

What do we have here?! Yes, ladies and gentlemen this is the sleek highlighting palette that I featured in a blog post way back when. It is still going strong, and continues to amaze me with the pigmentation and long-lasting effect. Although I’m still hesitant to use much of the cream product, because I simply don’t work well with that type of formula. I still reach for the other colours as much as I can! Especially the light purple, and yellow shades. The palette itself includes, 2 baked powders, 1 cream formula and 1 shimmer powder, which is more than enough for any highlighter fanatic!

Revolution Vivid Shimmer Brick Radiant

If you’re someone like me who suffers from watery eyes, when the slightest bit of product goes anywhere near them, then you know the struggle of trying to find non-irritant eyeshadows that actually look good! Bringing Revolution back into the equation, I have found their formulas in eyeshadows to be perfect for my situation! This little palette in particular called Shimmer Brick Radiant has been one huge life savour in my everyday routine. Not only is it full of natural yet gorgeous colours, it is perfect for on the go. Every swatch is full of nothing but rich pigmentation that lasts on the lids for many hours. So, if you’re planning to hit the town and you’re worried the products on your face are going to end up sliding off then this is the angel for you! *This is a highlighter, but can be used as eyeshadow!*

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara.

Who else has the struggle of finding that one perfect mascara? Isn’t it just a nightmare when every mascara you buy seems to make your lashes nothing but gloopy, crusty and overall not a pretty sight? Just before I nearly dropped to the floor in pure desperation of not finding any mascaras that suited me, I was faced with this miracle from above. The falsies push up angel mascara is beyond amazing! it does what it says on the packaging, and although you do have to be careful of not over applying too much it is generally one great product! Yes, it is not cruelty free but this is one aspect of my life that is slowly changing and I promise you by the end of the year I will be completely cruelty free! Can I get a hooray?! The wand on the brush grips onto my lashes and leaves them with a perfectly, coated look. Altogether, a great product that I have loved using this month!

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder In 001 Translucent.

If you haven’t seen this Stay Matte powder floating around the blogging community, then you must have been hiding under a very large rock. This powder from Rimmel has been a must have for so many people, and after picking it up less than two months ago I know why they love it so much! Once I apply foundation, I either bake with a translucent powder or if I am in a rush I’ll just quickly go in with a compact one. The shade that I chose is in 001 Transparent to help me achieve a matte finish, and reduce any shininess that I may pick up throughout the day. Not only am I in love with the formula of this powder, I’m also loving the cute packaging and how it is presented! It’s not everyday you see a drugstore product made to look somewhat pricy and glamourous!

Studio Eyebrow Kit From Miss Sporty.

& Brow This Way Brow Gel From Rimmel

Last but not least, I want to share with you these two little beauties. Of course I am one of those human beings who cannot leave the house without my eyebrows. By my eyebrows, I mean the ones I spend at least half an hour trying to arch, define and shade. To the person who once said beauty is pain, you sure are right! The first product, is the Studio Eyebrow Kit from Miss Sporty. For a few years I have been using this, and it hasn’t let me down once! I don’t particularly lean towards the gel formula often, only because I feel my brows don’t need that much support. However, the powder is slowly becoming my holy grail beauty product! I’m able to achieve a perfect brow look, at a fraction of the cost I would pay from Anastasia. Following on from that, still staying in the world of brow products is the Brow This Way brow gel from Rimmel London. Overall, this product is great at supporting my brow hairs throughout the day along with creating that little bit more of an oomph! There is so stickiness involved and instead the formula glides through my hairs with little to no effort.

So those are all of the things I have been currently loving this month! Although May has only just begun, I know it won’t be long until I’m seeing what my next monthly favourites are. Who knows, it may change tomorrow but what I do know is these are by far some of the best products I have used for a very long time. Let me know down below some of your monthly must haves, or send me a link to a post featuring your favourites, I’d love to have a sneak peak! I hope you all have a wonderful day, and I’ll see you all in my next post. Bye for now lovelies! xo

  1. I’m the exact same way, I literally cannot leave the house without my eyebrows done and I takes me a good 15 minutes to get them looking exactly the same ! I like that the highlighter can also be used as an eye shadow, very resourceful 😀

  2. I am always doubtful of beauty musthaves, because everybody has a different beauty routine. But these sound really good! I never really used highlifhter before. Might try them one day.

    1. That is very true, however these are just my beauty must haves! of course everyone has their own opinions on what suits them! Thankyou so much for the lovely comment as per usual Darling!😘xoxo

  3. I have the exact same problem with mascara! I’ve used the same one for about six years because every one I try is gloopy or clumpy or something else! The one I use is from Natural Collection and it’s the least clumpy I’ve found, but still not perfect. Revolution is a great brand, and they’re cruelty-free, too 🙂
